it's about iron Maiden

IRON MAIDEN charged into 2012 with two major news announcements.  Firstly, March 26 sees the release of a live BLU-RAY, 2DVD and double CD soundtrack: En Vivo!  Filmed during their 2010/11 Final Frontier World Tour, En Vivo! captures the show at the Estadio Nacional, Santiago in front of  50,000 Chilean fans.  Alongside the live show, there is a bonus disc featuring an 88-minute documentary  Behind The Beast giving a behind-the-scenes look at exactly what is involved in putting on an IRON MAIDEN concert.  Secondly, in June, the MAIDEN ENGLAND WORLD TOUR gets underway. This highly anticipated tour is the next chapter in the History Of Iron Maiden and will closely follow 1988’s Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son Tour not only in choice of set list but also in production and content. The 2012 dates will be the opening leg of this World tour and will be the band’s most extensive visit to North America in many years. The band show no signs of slowing down or losing the formidable passion that has seen them triumphant at the forefront of Metal for three decades.
Founded by bassist Steve Harris in the mid ‘70s, Iron Maiden were already firmly established as heavy metal’s brightest hopes when they stormed the world with their third album (and first with vocalist Bruce Dickinson) The Number Of The Beast in 1982. Throughout the decade that followed, Maiden recorded and toured relentlessly with seven new studio albums and seven World Tours in the ‘80s alone. Cementing their reputation as the hardest-touring  band on the planet and with the unmistakable figure of band mascot Eddie adorning every album cover and T-shirt , Iron Maiden created a world of their own; one that welcomed fans from every culture, creed and social sphere with a guarantee of heartfelt conviction and unprecedented professionalism.
With milestones like the marathon World Slavery Tour of 1984/5, headlining Rock in Rio in both 1985 and 2001 and Castle Donington’s Monsters Of Rock festival in 1988, (still the biggest ever event there with 107,000 attending), Maiden set new standards, while continually reinventing themselves both musically and visually.
Despite radio play around the world being limited to occasional heavy metal speciality shows and the band’s refusal to deal with celebrity and lifestyle-based mainstream media and magazines, of which there are now so many, the band took metal to many new frontiers; to Poland and behind the Iron Curtain in 1985,  around South America initially in 1992 and many times since, to the Middle East in 2007, India in the same year and many other new places all around the planet that rarely get visited by major bands.
The ‘90s proved to be a difficult time for heavy metal bands in general, but Iron Maiden ploughed doggedly forward, notching up yet more success with albums like 1992’s acclaimed Fear Of The Dark and even weathering the departure of Bruce Dickinson in 1993. The band made two strong albums with new singer Blaze Bayley and continued to honour their commitment to intensive touring, delivering the goods at every show. However, it was the return of Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith (who originally left the band in 1990) in 1999 when  Iron Maiden became a six-piece, that established the ultimate Iron Maiden line-up of Bruce Dickinson on vocals, Steve Harris on bass, Nicko McBrain on drums and “the three amigos” – Adrian Smith, Dave Murray and Janick Gers - on guitar. This line-up has scaled new heights and become increasingly fearless and boldly creative since the release of the Brave New World album in 2000.
With both 2003’s diverse and ingenious Dance Of Death album and its dark and daring follow-up, 2006’s A Matter Of Life And Death, they dazzled fans and critics alike. With each successive tour, whether revisiting classic songs from their first few albums or playing A Matter Of Life And Death in its entirety, Maiden accrued countless new young admirers, momentum building all the while.
This brave new Maiden era reached an astonishing zenith during the band’s Somewhere Back In Time Tour that began in February 2008 and initially took the band 50,000 miles around the world in 45 days, flying in their own specially chartered Boeing 757, Ed Force One, piloted by Bruce Dickinson, a qualified airline captain, traversing the planet, from India to Costa Rica, Australia to Argentina, Sao Paulo to Tokyo. Ed Force One made TV news headlines around the world and the coverage of that tour was subsequently turned into an award-winning film and DVD Flight 666.  Released in 2009 Flight 666 hit the No.1 slot in the music DVD charts in 25 countries, the same year the band picked up their first ever Brit Award for Best British Live Act. Maiden guitarist Dave Murray summed it up nicely when he remarked “Ed Force One certainly beats the battered old van that we, our one crew member and all our equipment used to travel round to gigs in when we first started out!”
The overwhelming success of the Somewhere Back In Time Tour continued into 2009 with sell-out shows across Europe and North America, and convinced the band that Ed Force One was the best possible way to reach more fans, more quickly and in more territories then they could ever hope to visit by traditional touring methods.
2011 proved another landmark year in the career of IRON MAIDEN following on from the huge success of their 15th studio album The Final Frontier released in 2010. The album became their biggest chart success to date, hitting the number one spot in 28 countries round the world, and debuting at an all time high of  #4 on Billboard in the U.S.  In February the band resumed The Final Frontier World Tour which had begun in June 2010, once more aboard Ed Force One, and pushing their own boundaries even further on that particular Round The World odyssey which covered 5 continents in 66 days and saw the band fly for the first time ever into such places as Singapore, Indonesia and South Korea for shows there. By the end of The Final Frontier Tour the band had played 98 live shows to over two million fans in 36 countries finishing up with two triumphant concerts at London’s 02 Arena. This same year Maiden released the widely lauded From Fear To Eternity compilation album and the band were also awarded their first ever U.S. Grammy:  Best Metal Performance, for the song El Dorado taken from The Final Frontier album.
32 years on, and with over 80 million album sales, more than 2000 live performances, countless satisfied customers and 15 studio albums of unerring quality and power to their name, Iron Maiden have more than earned their proudly-held status as one of the most influential and revered bands ever.

Pantera

Critics writing about Pantera fall over themselves in search of adjectives to describe the fiercely independent foursome: "Boot kicking" "A Metal massacre" "Crushing" "Searing" - the list goes on and on. Log onto the numerous websites manned by rabid and loyal fans, and you'll find chat rooms filled with their own testaments of faith to the band: "They never sold out." "They're as heavy as shit." "They always speak their mind." "They don't give a flying fuck about any of the others." But ask Philip Anselmo, the charismatic, often merciless frontman of Pantera about his take on their success and you get the true, living, breathing definition of this uncompromising phenomenon. "We've survived every fucking trend. Heavy metal, grunge metal, funk metal, rap metal - and we're still here. We put everyone on notice that we don't fuck around. Our fans know we're true right down to the fucking core.
"Now, with Reinventing The Steel, their first studio album in four years, Pantera can once again let their music do the talking, and, as one writer has already noted about the band: "You can hear them coming a mile away." The new disc, following on the heels of 1997's gold-selling live opus, Official Live: 101 Proof, reverberates with a depth and intensity that secures Pantera's rep as the cream of modern metal.
"We took more time on this album, much more time," says Vinnie. The album was crafted in their own home studio in Texas, with the band also anointing Vinnie and Dimebag Darrell as sole producers on this one. Terry Date, who has helped guide their four other studio albums, agreed it was time to let Vinnie and Dimebag fly solo on this effort.
"He was real cool about it," says Vinnie. "This just seemed like a natural progression to let us have a go at it. We were able to concentrate and work at a steadier pace, going in for a couple of days a week. It gave us a better perspective on what we were trying to achieve."
And though Vinnie is reluctant to describe the songs on Reinventing The Steel, Phil's riveting bolts of passionate, in-your-face vocals are again faithfully discharged under the familiar Pantera squall of Dimebag's guitars, Vinnie's drums, and Rex's deft bass playing. "It was great having Vinnie and Dimebag producing," says Phil. "We were able to come in and do our thing with none of the pressures. 100% bullshit proof. The evidence is in the music. We've been through so much together you can just feel the energy that went into making this album." Soulfully brutal tracks like "Revolution Is My Name," and "We'll Grind That Axe For A Long Time," pulse with the restless angst fans have come to expect, but soar, as well, under the steady hands of Vinnie and Dime. '"We'll Grind That Axe' is in a way, our motto," says Phil. "We'll keep fucking kicking ass, giving our all, until we can't fucking do it anymore. Our fans can breathe fucking easy - we're back."
As if they ever left. Pantera's incredible rise to the top of the metal heap has been nothing short of miraculous when you consider they've made their historic climb with virtually no radio support or MTV exposure. With 4 platinum albums under their belt, 3 gold home videos and 2 Grammy nominations, Pantera are just beginning to garner the recognition they deserve. Relentless touring since 1990's breakthrough album Cowboys From Hell, has seen them go from local Texas phenoms to mortifying trailblazers of the legendary Ozzfest. Touring with their idols was one of the highlights of Pantera's career. One of the most hellraising songs on the new disc, "Yesterday Don't Mean Shit," was penned on their most recent run on the Black Sabbath Reunion Tour. "It was the first song written for the new album," says Vinnie. "I think it establishes the code."
That code has held Pantera well through what many consider their classic album, 1992's Vulgar Display Of Power, to 1994's #1 Billboard debut Far Beyond Driven, to their most recent studio effort 1996's The Great Southern Trendkill. (TGST was the first album recorded at their custom built Texas studio.) "It makes all the difference in the world," says Vinnie. "We totally control our own destiny now. And that's just the way we want it."
The band's relentless touring and fierce dedication to their fans have inoculated them against the usual trappings that have brought down other metal bands, making them the standard-bearers for integrity minded rock.A crown that came naturally, says Vinnie: "We don't ever try to be anything we aren't. The bond between us and our fans can't be broken because they see themselves up there when we play. You can never fake that."

Here are some critical soundbites from the media about A DRAMATIC TURN OF EVENTS, the band’s 11th studio album.

“The group’s members are clearly enjoying a rediscovered melodicism and experimentation in their songwriting. Dream Theater digs in with impressive might into hook-heavy twisting journeys like ‘Bridges In The Sky,’ ‘Breaking All Illusions’ and ‘Outcry,’ yet also softens into a vulnerability never heard before on songs like ‘Far From Heaven’ and ‘Beneath The Surface’…Fans, rejoice: The spirit carries on, very much intact.” --Chuck Taylor, BILLBOARD, October 15, 2011

“’Spine-tingling’ is a term that can be applied to the whole of the album… Dream Theater’s stunning new masterpiece, which sees the band – Petrucci, LaBrie, bassist John Myung, keyboardist Jordan Rudess and new drummer Mike Mangini – performing at the top of their game. Mixed by Grammy Award winner Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine), it’s a sonic wonder that keeps revealing surprises even after multiple spins.” --Joe Bosso, MUSICRADAR.COM, August 17, 2011

"Dream Theater have done exactly what they needed to do with this album. John Petrucci's production is fantastic ... This is classic Dream Theater, and it's their best for many years. " -- ALTSOUNDS.COM, September 16, 2011

Burgerkill profile (English version)

Burgerkill
Originating from Bandung, West Java, Burgerkill were formed in 1995 and have been continually shaping the underground metal scene in Indonesia ever since. For 14 years Burgerkill have consistently been in the spotlight as a force to be reckoned with in Indonesian metal, from writing compositions for movie soundtracks to the successful publication of autobiographic novels.
Their first album, ‘Dua Sisi’, demonstrates the band’s beginnings as a leaning towards a predominantly ‘Hardcore Metal’ and was well received within the underground metal community. With their second album ‘Berkarat’ and their most recent ‘Beyond Coma and Despair’ Burgerkill have found their foot-hole and developed a style of their own. Burgerkill set the standard for live metal performances in Indonesia, and have always been a clear cut above the rest. What you hear on the album is what you get live – no disappointments. Their style and level of performance are incomparable to anything previously seen or heard in Indonesia. Burgerkill have become veterans of the metal stage as they are regularly supporting International metal acts touring Indonesia such as The Black Dahlia Murder, As I Lay Dying, and Himsa.
Burgerkill is a dynamic composition of talented musicians who have all individually featured as prominent influences within Indonesia’s underground metal milieu. With Vicky on vocals, Ebenz on guitar, Ramdan on bass, Andris on drums, and Agung on guitar, the result is a lethal combination of musicians who, as if by instinct, produce a most rancorous sound that leaves you feeling downright butchered. Self produced and Burgerkill’s most recent album, ‘Beyond Coma and Despair’ has been tagged by Rolling Stone Magazine as ‘One of the best albums of the year’ (2006). The sound exhibited on this album is brutal and violent. All throughout this turbulent, provocative album it is as if Burgerkill grab you by the head and smash you to the wall, yet you find yourself still smiling and thoroughly enjoying this merciless invasion of noise.
It is masochistic to the core. There is nothing mediocre about the album Burgerkill attack each song with great ferocity. ‘Beyond Coma and Despair’ is a unique album in that each song churns out a colossal sound, delivering to the listener an unrelenting assault on the eardrums. ‘Beyond Coma and Despair’ more than proves with absolute certainty that Burgerkill will reign eternal in the metal world.

It's all about Burgerkill \m/

Never Ending Pain lewat kompilasi Ticket To Ride.
Tahun 2009 menggelar konser "Allegiance to Metal Tour 2009" bersama Psycroptic dan Nemesis.
Band ini pernah satu panggung dengan beberapa band luar deperti The Black Dahlia Murder, As I Lay Dying, dan Himsa. Band ini juga menandatangani kontrak dengan Xenophobic Record Australia. Band ini juga akan merilis album baru mereka, Venomous pada bulan Juni 2011.

Avenged Sevenfold Set to Return To the Far and Middle East This Spring (April-May)

Avenged Sevenfold announced today that they will be returning to the Far and Middle East beginning April 16th in Tokyo, Japan, for a tour that will culminate in a special show in Abu Dhabi, UAE on May 4th.
“We are excited to go back to the Far and Middle East,” said Avenged Sevenfold front man M. Shadows. "We played to some of the most amazing crowds when we toured the album there, and we can't wait to bring our live show back to our friends in those regions.”
Long time friends Metallica have asked Avenged Sevenfold to perform at the first ever Orion Music + More at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ, on June 24th. M. Shadows had this to say: "We really hadn't planned to play the United States in 2012. But after Lars called to describe their plans for Orion and asked us to join them, we decided there's no way we would miss it." The band toured with Metallica in 2006 as part of Metallica’s “Escape From The Studio Tour” and that year M. Shadows and Metallica’s James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich were featured together on the cover of Revolver Magazine. 3 years later, Avenged Sevenfold toured with Metallica on their “World Magnetic” tour.
In July 2010, Avenged Sevenfold released their fifth studio album Nightmare, which earned the band its highest-ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it bowed at No. 1 and topped the Rock, Hard Rock, and Digital charts. It has been certified gold by the RIAA and has scanned upwards of 660,000 units. The album spawned three hit singles – the gold-certified singles “Nightmare” and “Welcome To The Family,” and “So Far Away” – each of which peaked at Number 1 on the Media Base Active Rock chart. The title track was the most-played current song at Media Base Active Rock for 2010. Avenged Sevenfold have toured incessantly on their “Buried Alive” and “Welcome to the Family” tours selling out arenas around the world. They also headlined the Uproar Tour and the first annual Carolina Rebellion Festival in 2011 where the band played to a sold-out crowd of over 30,000 fans. The band also toured Iraq with the USO and has played to nearly 1,000,000 people in the last two years. Their breakout album City of Evil and the Live In The LBC DVD have both been certified platinum and the band’s self-titled album has been certified gold.
