History Of Darkest Hour

Darkest Hour is an American Metalcore band from Washington, D.C., formed in 1995. Though failing to break early in their career, the band has received acclaim for their albums Undoing Ruin, Deliver Us, and The Eternal Return. Deliver Us debuted at number 110 on the Billboard album charts, with sales of 6,600, and their most recent effort The Eternal Return garnered them an even higher position in the Billboard album charts at number 104.
History
Formation (1994–1999)
Darkest Hour was formed on September 23, 1995, and initially consisted of vocalist John Henry, guitarist Mike Schleibaum, bassist Raul Mayorga and drummer Matt Maben.
The band released its first EP titled The Misanthrope in 1996 on a local label called Death Truck Records. In 1996, Darkest Hour cut a single titled "Paths of Despair" for East Coast Empire Records' The Harder They Come compilation. The song proceeds at a slower, grueling tempo in comparison to the up-beat tempo the band would come to be known for. In 1999, Darkest Hour released another EP titled The Prophecy Fulfilled on another label called Art Monk Construction.
The Mark of the Judas and So Sedated, So Secure (2000–2002)
The addition of second guitarist Fred Ziomek, bassist Billups Allen and drummer Ryan Parrish saw the band release their first full-length LP The Mark of the Judas in 2000, on the now-defunct M.I.A. Records.
The Mark of the Judas was not widely promoted or distributed due to M.I.A. Records going out of business not long after the album's release.
Despite the fact Darkest Hour were left without a label, the band garnered enough exposure to catch the attention of Victory Records. Their Victory debut So Sedated, So Secure was released on August 7, 2001. After the release of the album, Billups was replaced by Paul Burnette and Ziomek left the band. The album was re-issued by Victory on March 7, 2006, and featured new artwork, re-mixed audio, re-recorded vocals and additional tracks.
The band continued to tour, with Schleibaum's longtime friend Mike Garrity filling in on lead guitar duties. Eventually, they accepted Parrish's old friend Kris Norris as the new lead guitarist, and then began to write their next record.
While Garrity was the guitarist, the band was arrested and jailed in Roland, Oklahoma for alleged marijuana charges, also for "illegally imported" beer and for an open beer can. They were fined $6000; Schleibaum was able to pay for himself, Burnette, and Garrity. Ryan and John had to stay for a couple of hours while the rest of the band had to get money to bail them out.
Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation and Undoing Ruin (2003–2006)
Their third release Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation was released on May 20, 2003. Produced by well-renowned Swedish record producer Fredrik Nordström, the album signaled a shift from the band's previous metalcore style to a more melodic death metal style. As a result, the album gained strong mainstream attention, allowing the band to perform at Ozzfest 2004. Notably, the album contained political lyrics, with several songs criticizing American militarism post-September 11. The album was re-issued by Victory on July 13, 2004, with a bonus song and an additional DVD containing bonus material.
Darkest Hour released their fourth full-length LP Undoing Ruin on June 28, 2005. The album was produced by Devin Townsend (Strapping Young Lad) at Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver. The album was the band's first to enter the Billboard 200 charts, debuting at #138 with first week sales of 8,484.
In the 2005 documentary Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, Darkest Hour and a number of other bands including Shadows Fall, Lamb of God, Chimaira, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, and God Forbid are all listed under the category "New Wave of American Metal" in the "metal genealogy chart".
Deliver Us (2007–2008)
In early 2007, the band was in Vancouver to work on their next record with Townsend. On March 7, 2007, Victory Records issued a press statement confirming the title of the album was Deliver Us; it was released on July 10.
In April 2008, Darkest Hour created a Washington Capitals fight song and a MySpace tribute page in support of the Capitals 2008 Stanley Cup playoffs run. The song "1,000 Words to Say but One" was re-recorded with new lyrics and new solos into "Let's Go Caps!"
In September 2008, it was reported on Blabbermouth.net that Kris Norris had left the band and would be pursuing producing routes and possibly a new band. Not long after Kris Norris' departure, they found replacement Mike "Lonestar" Carrigan. With Lonestar officially on board the band is heading back into the studio to write & record with Producer Brian McTernan of Baltimore's Salad Days Studio.
The band's song "Demon(s)" is featured on the music game Guitar Hero 5.
The Eternal Return (20092010)
In March 2009, Darkest Hour began to record the new album, The Eternal Return, just before co-headlining (along with Bleeding Through) the Thrash and Burn European Tour 2009 in April and May. The Eternal Return was released on June 23, 2009, two weeks later than originally announced. Darkest Hour then went on to play the 2009 Summer Slaughter Tour. They supported Trivium for the first leg of the North American Into the Mouth of Hell We Tour.
In February 2010, Darkest Hour announced a new tour with Dillinger Escape Plan, Iwrestledabearonce, and Animals as Leaders.
Signing to E1 and The Human Romance (2010–present)
In April 2010, Darkest Hour announced their signing to E1 Music after having been with Victory Records for a decade. The new album will be produced by Soilwork guitarist Peter Wichers, who helped pioneer Swedish melodic death metal and was a major influence on Darkest Hour. In an August press release, the band described the new material as "the most emotional and melodic Darkest Hour album to date" and also said it "shares in that aggression [with The Eternal Return] and pushes Darkest Hour beyond the unknown."
In a new Metal Injection interview, Darkest Hour members Mike Schleibaum and Ryan Parrish revealed that the new record will be titled The Human Romance, and it will be released on February 22, 2011.
On January 13, 2011, A new song entitled "Savor the Kill" was released onto Noisecreep.
On December 22nd, 2011, Darkest Hour announced that they have parted ways with longtime drummer Ryan Parrish.
On June 6th, 2012, Darkest Hour announced that bassist Paul Burnette would be amicably leaving the band to join Iron Reagan. Aaron Deal, who had toured with Darkest Hour in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America was also announced as the new bassist.

History Of All That Remains

All That Remains is an American heavy metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts, which formed in 1998. They have released five studio albums, a live CD/DVD, and have sold nearly 800,000 records worldwide. The group consists of guitarists Oli Herbert and Mike Martin, vocalist Philip Labonte, bassist Jeanne Sagan and former Diecast drummer Jason Costa with Labonte and Herbert being the only two original members. To date, all of their singles have had music videos created for them except "The Waiting One".

History

Formation, debut album and This Darkened Heart (2000-2005)

Phil Labonte, the vocalist for All That Remains, was originally the vocalist for Shadows Fall and appeared on the cult classic album Somber Eyes to the Sky. After being asked to leave because of "musical differences", Phil focused entirely on All That Remains, a side project he had been working on prior to leaving. Phil has been known to support Boston acts such as Widow Sunday, Bury Your Dead, and Cannae. The band released their debut album, Behind Silence and Solitude on March 26, 2002 through Prosthetic Records. The style of the album differs from their current metalcore musical style, and more prominently contains elements of melodic death metal. It was also the band's only release featuring the original members Chris Bartlett and Dan Egan.

Their second album, This Darkened Heart was released on March 23, 2004 through Prosthetic Records. Produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, the album featured better production compared to its predecessor. The three singles that were released from the album are “This Darkened Heart”, “Tattered on My Sleeve” and “The Deepest Gray”. Music videos were created for all three.

The Fall of Ideals (2006-2008)

Their third album The Fall of Ideals was released on July 11, 2006 through Prosthetic Records. Once again, the album was produced by Adam Dutkiewicz. The album is also considered to be the band’s breakthrough release, as it entered the Billboard 200 charts at number 75, selling almost 13,000 copies in its first week. “This Calling” was released as the album’s first single. Two music videos were created, with one incorporating footage from Saw III (as it was the lead song from the film’s soundtrack). A music video was made for the album’s second single "The Air That I Breathe". The band was also a part of Ozzfest 2006. The song “Six” is featured in Guitar Hero II as an unlockable song . On June 20, 2007, it was announced that The Fall of Ideals had surpassed 100,000 sales in the United States. A music video for the album’s third single “Not Alone” was filmed on July 4 and was released on September 10, 2007. In 2007, they played at Wacken Open Air in Wacken, Germany to a great success. On November 30, 2007, All That Remains released a live CD/DVD album titled All That Remains Live.

In early 2008, they embarked on a headlining tour with support from Chimaira and Black Tide with Divine Heresy and Light This City splitting the tour’s opening slot. Five Finger Death Punch, was originally supposed to play but dropped off before the tour started due to vocal problems. Later that summer All That Remains appeared on the Midwestern leg of Van’s Warped Tour 2008.

Overcome (2008-2010)

The band visited Audiohammer Studios in May, 2008 to record their fourth studio album, entitled Overcome, with producer Jason Suecof. The album was released on September 16, 2008, with critics giving it mixed reviews due to its more mainstream sound, many claiming that the band has put focus on catchy melodies rather than technical heavy metal riffs. The song “Chiron” was released as the first single from the album and a video was produced for it. Two singles from the album (“Chiron” and “Two Weeks”) were also released for Rock Band as downloadable content, along with “This Calling”. The band released a video for "Two Weeks" in October. "Two Weeks" was also featured as a free playable download on the popular iPhone OS game, Tap Tap Revenge 2. On June 10, All That Remains started touring on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival, playing the Jägermeister stage along with God Forbid and headliners Trivium.

On April 12, 2009, Phil Labonte posted on his Twitter that he was recording something in the studio on that same day with (at least) Oli and Mike. This turned out to be the acoustic version of “Forever in Your Hands”.

On June 29, 2009, drummer Jason Costa broke his hand. The band temporarily recruited drummer Tony Laureano (Dimmu Borgir, Nile) to honor their commitment to the 2009 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival.

On September 29, 2010, All That Remains announced “The Napalm & Noise Tour”, which will take place from November 23 December 21. They will co-headline it with The Devil Wears Prada, and be supported by Story of the Year and Haste the Day.

On October 7, 2009, All That Remains released the music video for their single “Forever in Your Hands”. Also released on this day was a free download of the Japan bonus track "Frozen" from Overcome.

In January, 2011, All That Remains won top honors in the Hard Rock/Metal category in the 9th Annual Independent Music Awards for the album.

For We Are Many (2010-2011)

All That Remains announced plans to start recording another album, which began in April 2010. The band later confirmed it to be released later in the year with Adam Dutkiewicz as the chosen producer. The album was released on October 12, 2010.

On June 8, 2010, All That Remains premiered the title track "For We Are Many" during a show in Burlington, VT under the working title of "Dem Trims". From August 18 through September 6, a free download of the title track, "For We Are Many", was available on the band’s website after subscribing to their mailing list.

On October 6, 2010, All That Remains released a music video for the single "Hold On".

“For We Are Many” debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200, selling a little over 29,000 copies in its first week.

A music video was released for “The Last Time” on April 1, 2011.

All That Remains took part in the Share the Welt Fall tour with Hatebreed, Rains and Five Finger Death Punch.

New album (2012-present)

On January 25, 2012, Phil Labonte stated via Facebook that they are working on new material. Sessions have been regular since.

Drummer Jason Costa has his acting debut in an upcoming episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Scheduled to air on May, 25, 2012, in an episode titled: Metal, Jason has a minor role as a musician questioned in the murder of a catholic school girl. When he is questioned by Det. Benson, his only line is "That kid was a shady guy... I bet he knows where the bodies are buried." Jason has said that this casting was a one time only thing, and his love is music not acting. He donated his check from the show to support the North Quincy Break a Leg actors troupe. Mayor Koch has scheduled a ceremony at North Quincy High School to give Jason a key to the city on the airing of the show.

Tugas artikel Sensor Exmor R

Haloo… hallo pemirsa setia bakpaoimlek.blogspotcom….
Nah sekilas niih tentang sensor Exmor R, semoga ajah bermanfaat deh buat lu-lu semuanye aje yye…hahahhaha

Cciiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaooooooooo………….. ^_^
